Bar Refaeli - Harper’s Bazaar Magazine Fashion

When in Berlin last week I visited the In Grenzen frei exhibition at the Kunstgewerbemuseum. The show is dedicated to the underground fashion in the former German Democratic Republic in the years 1979-1989.And though the lighting was quite poor (it was hard to avoid your own boring reflection in many of the photos) the selection of works by such artists as Tina Bara, Hartmut Beil, Roger Melis and Helga Paris and the fabulous Sibylle Bergemann, alongside photos out of Sibylle magazine and videos of underground fashion runways, were all terribly exciting and surprisingly fresh.
